GRP Enclosures – Westfield Stratford City Mall

Industrial GRP was recently contracted to design, supply and install 21 GRP Enclosures which will house MCC Control Panels on the roof of the largest urban shopping centre in Europe.

Due to the advanced stage of the roof structure we were unable to bolt the GRP Enclosures down to a secure structure. Industrial GRP proposed and developed a detailed design that utilizes an integral GRP composite floor that includes aggregate ballast that is sufficient to satisfy the design criteria.

Moreover, these GRP Enclosures had to be manufactured in extremely small sections that could easily be transported to the final location. These small sections were then assembled on site by our specialist site team.
